Cancelling your Appointment

Appointments are often in short supply so please ring and let us know if you cannot attend. It means that the appointment can be given to somebody else.

health_tech1For safety reasons we do not take prescription requests over the telephone.

Please make requests in writing giving at least three clear working days' notice. If you put your request in to a pharmacy to deal with on your behalf please allow an extra day for this service. If you have a repeat prescription computer slip please mark the items that you require clearly. Alternatively order your prescriptions online.

If you are requesting your prescription early for some reason please let us know as normally prescriptions will only be printed one week before their due date.

We do not accept requests by fax

Repeat Prescription requests received by the surgery on:

Monday     - Ready on Thursday PM

Tuesday     - Ready on Friday PM

Wednesday - Ready on Monday PM

Thursday    - Ready on Tuesday PM

Friday         - Ready on Wednesday PM

Please allow one extra day if the Pharmacy is putting in your request.

Items that are not on repeat may take longer.


By informing us on your request slip, you can arrange for a local chemist to collect your repeat prescription on your behalf this saves .

The prescription can be collected from the surgery in person or can be sent to your home address if you include a SAE with your request.
